There are few products which have many
hardware versions, and almost every version has a different designed firmware.
Select methods from below list to check the
hardware version of your TP-Link products you can also check that from 192.168.0.1tp link.
1. Check the label of your device at the back
To turn on the device, you can check the
label of the device on its back side, this is string of characters "Ver: X.Y"
(for e.g. Ver: 1.0) in the field of serial number, and number X is the hardware
version of the device. If the character of string is "Ver: 1.1" it
means the hardware version is V1.
2. Check Engraved Characters
This method is for those products which
don't have labels like USB adapter.
To find out the hardware version, you need
to check the FCC ID number at the end which indicate version of hardware. If
there is no FCC ID number like V2 following model number then it is version
3. Products which has Management Interface
Open your browser to login into management
page, type and enter your domain name in the address bar which varies between
different units. Put username and password both admin.
